We have started organising our library and Mrs Partridge and Mrs Bains have had some training and are beginning to catalogue the books. We are also updating some of our polices, such as our Behaviour Policy. If you have any comments or points you think we should consider please drop me a line or catch me on the school gate and let me know.
This week we started our new lunchtime hours. All children have a shared lunch hour from 12 until 1 now and also share mid- morning break. This is creating a better ‘family feel’ across the school and although the children are able to choose some separate spaces that are just for them, they can also choose to mix and this means older children can look after and play with younger ones. It has been lovely to see the children responding to this. Thank you to Mrs Stone and Mrs Marshall for co-ordinating this and thank you to the children for being so responsible.
I am looking forward to Purbeck Arts Week next week as we have an artist in school on Tuesday, lots of art projects and an epic enactment of an entertaining extract of a Midsummer Night’s Dream performed by some special actors on Monday
Have a good week!
