Key Stage 1 Sports Day
Everyone a Winner...
As you can see from the Diary Dates we have a few busy weeks ahead of us, including 3 open assemblies and 2 sports days! Please make a note of the relevant dates for your child/ children and we look forward to seeing you over the coming weeks!
We will be holding the School Transition Day on Monday 6th July, when all of the children will visit their new class and teacher for the next academic year. In order to prepare the class lists please could I ask that you let us know as soon as possible, if you haven’t already done so, if your child will be leaving the school before September.
Our Year 6’s have returned from their residential trip to Barton Hall and a great time was had by all – please see the photo’s on the school website to see what they have been doing! Year 4 will be embarking on their residential trip next week and we look forward to hearing about all their adventures!
I hope that you all enjoy the Summer Fayre today and hope to see you there!
RNLI OPEN WEEKEND
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August 2015, the RNLI are welcoming people to their Poole HQ to celebrate the official opening of the All-weather Lifeboat Centre, and explore the next generation of lifesaving. This will be a fantastic educational opportunity for children and adults.
The 2015 open weekend will give a rare opportunity to tour this world-class boatbuilding factory, along with the unique training facilities – the Sea Survival Centre and Lifeboat College. You can meet the RNLI people who crew our lifeboats, who lifeguard our beaches and who work locally and globally to reduce coastal fatalities.
Also happening on the day:
• Live demonstrations – see our lifesavers in action.
• Forums and talks from industry experts
• Children’s activities
